What is managed WordPress?

Our managed WordPress platform is a fully-managed WordPress hosting environment, which means you can stay focused on building your website with content that is unique to you while we handle the daily maintenance of your server and the applications that keeps your website running strong.

What resources are measured when calculating my managed WordPress bill?

Each managed WordPress plan comes with a recommended allowance of resources. There is an allowance for the number of visitors and an allowance for storage. Visitors are measured by unique IPs your site receives. Storage is calculated by the maximum amount of disk space used by your website at any time during your billing cycle.

What happens when I go over my visitor & storage resources?

Our goal is to support your website so that you do not experience performance degradation if your site goes over your plan’s limits. At the moment, if your plan exceeds your resource limits nothing will immediately happen, we will recommend that you upgrade to a new plan.

Can I use a custom theme when I host my site?

Yes! With a plugin-enabled plan, you can install custom or third-party themes as well as plugins.

Is WordPress ideal for an eCommerce website?

Yes. With a plugin-enabled site, you can integrate plugins like WooCommerce to build a store to sell products and services on your site.

How Can I Speed Up My WordPress Site?

Slow websites are bad all around. Not only do they frustrate users, but they’re also not appreciated by Google either. A slow website can cause web visitors to leave your site. Plus, they hurt your site’s SEO as well.

Why might your WordPress site be slow? It could be that your server isn’t optimized for WordPress, so you need WordPress hosting. It’s possible your pages are not cached or your images are not web optimized. Plugins and external scripts can also affect your speed.

If you want to speed up your WordPress site, there are a couple of ways to go about it:

  • Use a WordPress caching plugin, which can make your site 2 to 5 times faster
  • Ensure all images are optimized for the web
  • Always use the latest version of WordPress
  • Avoid poorly coded plugins

How Can I Protect My WordPress Website From Hackers?

Security is critical when running a personal blog or a business website. You don’t want someone else to gain control of your site, steal confidential information, or conduct malicious activities.

Ensure your WordPress web hosting service automatically protects your website from hacks, malware, spam, data loss, and downtime. You’ll also need to ensure that all logins are secure and that there is protection from brute force and denial of service attacks.
